Education Support agreements and awards
The AEU and Victorian Education Department have made a new agreement for School Services Officers - or Education Support staff as they are now known.
The agreement is a varied and extended version of the 2004 SSO Agreement. It took effect from 9 December 2008, the date is was approved by the Australian Industrial Relations Commission.
The agreement also supercedes the existing SSO award.

An implementation guide for the new agreement is in preparation and will be issued early in 2009.
