Alan Cooper and Geoff Allen of Retirement Victoria, St Kilda Road have a decade long retirement planning relationship with the AEU and its members. They are well known throughout the teaching service and public sector in Victoria for their specialist knowledge, their focus on what suits clients, their emphasis on ongoing service and the easy manner with which they work with clients over the long term.

Principal Class members are subject to some unique circumstances in relation to determination of superannuation salary, the contract system, tax and Reasonable Benefit Limits, superannuation surcharge, lump sum tax and salary packaging.

Since the contract system was introduced many Principal Class members have been the target of less than scrupulous practices in the sale of salary packaging products with high fees and high commissions.

Alan and Geoff have a large base of principal and teacher clients. Members are encouraged to take advantage of the expertise and services they offer in planning individual retirement strategies for the ever changing environment of superannuation, tax, pensions and investment.
