Networks
There are currently a number of HSR networks in existence which give HSRs an opportunity to meet on a regular basis to discuss issues of common concern and share experiences and ideas.
A list of these networks will be advertised in the very near future. If you are interested in joining one of these networks or would like more information, please contact the AEU.
Any areas interested in setting up their own HSR network should contact their local AEU Organiser, or ring 9417 2822.
2008 Health & Safety Rep forums
These will cover the following areas:
WorkSafe - the role of the HSR in implementing the OHS Act 2004
WorkSafe inspector: stress prevention - how audits are conducted
Networking with other HSRs
There is one Network event planned for the remainder of this year. It will be conducted jointly with VIEU on Wednesday, 12 November from 9am to 12 noon. Morning tea is provided. Please contact Bob Maguire by email or phone (03) 9417 2822.
The plan for 2009 includes Network meetings in Terms 1 and 3. The Term 1 meetings include Bundoora, Frankston and Bendigo.
