Professional Issues

The AEU represents the professional as well as the industrial interests of its members. It is the most important professional body for workers in public education in Australia. Professional issues are central to the everyday work of all of its members.

The AEU has an extensive and expanding professional role which includes research, advocacy, the promotion of discussion and debate, policy development, professional development, resource provision, professional networks, and the publication of a professional journal.

Professional Voice
PV is the professional journal of the AEU (Victorian Branch). Published three times a year, it addresses contemporary professional and curriculum issues. PV is available in hardcopy on subscription (free to AEU members), or as a PDF download from this site. Read the latest issue.

AEU professional networks
The AEU runs networks for professional development co-ordinators and curriculum co-ordinators as part of its program to enhance communications with members on professional issues.
