The Australian Education Union has a strong commitment to meeting both the industrial and professional training needs of members.

Two training officers work with leadership and other officers to plan and deliver a wide range of courses and modules. GRADUATE AND STUDENT MEMBERS
A variety of New Educator programs runs throughout the year. Information on events for 2009 will be sent to AEU representatives and published here and in the New Educators section. You can also phone us for details. We offer a variety of professional development for student members such as "How to get a job", "How to write an application & interview skills".

CONFERENCES
The AEU runs several conferences over the year, designed to meet the professional needs of specific groups of members, such as early childhood, disability, TAFE, principals, SSOs (regional and metropolitan) and graduate teachers (both primary and secondary).
